At first glance, this magnificent plant from Brazil more closely resembles an Orthophytum, Dyckia or other terrestrial bromeliad than any typical Forzzaea. A slow grower that has stiff, sharply recurving, silvery leaves with very large marginal spines. The foliage bears the impressions of other leaves, forming a diamond like pattern down the center
