This style of rubber diaphragm was originally used on all models until about 1973 when it was superseded by a wire and cord replacement diaphragm

We recommend that these are fitted in conjunction with new matching door panels wherever possible

As can be seen here the fluted areas are heavily padded to give a distinctive look. Generally the paddings underneath are reusable even if they are 50 years old! Please note that colours listed are those that were used in the original manufacture of the vehicle.
